CONFIRMATION LETTERS

After we receive your payment, you will receive your confirmation letter via e-mail. Confirmation tickets may take up to a couple of hours to get to you via email. Please be patient! Make sure to check your junk/spam filter folders for your confirmation ticket.  If you don’t get your ticket within 24 hours of registration, call the office to have it re-sent or confirm your registration.In the event you do not have an email address, your confirmation will be mailed to you.  We encourage you to register online to receive the most efficient response.  When not registering online, expect to receive your confirmation letter by mail before the first class meeting. If you do not receive confirmation prior to the class date, it is your responsibility to call our office (301) 500-5061.

MATERIALS FEES

Materials fees, if any, are paid directly to the instructor at the first class.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Students enrolling in Signature Blue classes must be 18 years of age unless otherwise indicated.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

You are entitled to an official Signature Blue certificate of completion at the conclusion of your course.

MEMBERSHIP

You can save by becoming a Signature Blue member. Membership is not required to enroll in classes; however you must pay non-member tuitions if you choose not to purchase a membership. Non-member tuition are higher than member tuition in most cases. Signature Blue Memberships are not refundable.

$29 Individual Membership: Member tuition for classes and special events for 12 months and discounts from local merchants.

$50 Family Membership: Same as the Individual for up to four people.

$75 Company Membership: Same as an individual membership for unlimited number of employees.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cannot attend a course as planned, you may receive a Signature Blue credit.  Please notify our office (voice mail available 24/7) at least 24 hours BEFORE the first class meeting in order to receive a voucher for the full amount.  If you contact Signature Blue on the day of the class or after the class has occurred, you are not entitled to a class credit. No exceptions! (Note: Computer, foreign language and cooking class cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance in order to receive a credit voucher.) Signature Blue credit vouchers are good for 6 months and cannot be redeemed for cash.  Special events and trips are non-refundable.  No credit or refund is given for partial attendance of a class. Refunds are issued for courses that may be postponed due to inclement weather if Signature Blue determines travel conditions to be hazardous or circumstances beyond our control.  Refunds are given in the event Signature Blue cancels the course or activity due to low enrollment.You are entitled to a refund UNLESS you paid for the class with a course credit, in which case Signature Blue would re-issue your course credit and extend it for another six (6) months.  Refunds are issued on the 20th of each month. Signature Blue reserves the right to change location, schedules, fees and instructors when necessary. Refunds will not be issued due to class location changes or if we change an instructor.

GIFT CERTIFICATES & COUPONS

Gift certificates and coupons are non-refundable, even if lost or stolen, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

OUR GUARANTEE

If after completing a Signature Blue program you feel the program was not as described, we’ll issue you a credit voucher for the course fee plus $5 additional credit to use toward a class of your choice.  Your request must be made in writing within seven business days after completing the class.  This offer does not apply to trips or tours.

LIABILITIES

Instructors come from the community and are experts in their fields; however, they are not required to have teaching credentials. Signature Blue strives for quality but cannot be held liable for the content taught by instructors who function as independent contractors. Signature Blue exercises great care when selecting instructors. We make no guarantees, expressed or implied that classroom instruction will result in specific gain. We cannot be held responsible for any loss, material or otherwise, incurred while following an instructor’s directions. Signature Blue is not responsible for any personal property left in our building. Students take courses at their own risk. Neither Signature Blue nor any of its teachers are liable for any injury you may sustain.
